What type of qualification is this?

This is a vocational QCF qualification with is comprised of nine mandatory and two optional units. Within this time you can expect to be involved in formal learning activities which could include classes, tutorials or seminars, coaching and mentoring, supervised practical work in the workplace and assessment where an Assessor is present. 100 per cent of the qualification focuses on the development of skills and knowledge to support you to work in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools. As this is a competence-based qualification you’ll be assessed in a real work environment.
