Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Workforce
The Level 2 Certificate in Health and Social Care enables applied study of the health and social care sector, providing learners with an introduction to key areas relating to current practice.
This qualification is designed to help learners build the knowledge and skills needed when working under supervision with children and young people from birth to 19 years of age. It covers a diverse range of job roles and occupational areas working in children’s settings including early years and social care.
The mandatory units aim to provide learners with knowledge and understanding of key subject areas in health and social care.
The Level 2 Certificate has also been designed to enable learners to progress to our Level 3 Award, Certificate and Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care (which supports progression to Higher Education), further learning at Level 3 and above, or to the workplace.
