Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Practitioner / Educator
The Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator) prepares learners to become Early Years Educators, enabling them to work with children from birth to 5 years and gain knowledge of children aged 5 to 7 years. Upon achievement of this qualification it is intended that learners will be able to enter the workforce as Early Years Educators.
24 Week Course: This is a classroom based, taught course; delivered over 24 weeks, with a four hour dedicated lesson each week. This is delivered within our well-resourced classrooms; using on-line Moodle support and accessible assignments. A practical simulation based component is also offered.

This course provides training for individuals who work or want to work with children or young people in a wide range of settings, for example in the roles of:

✓ Learning Mentor
Sessions are delivered in the form of group discussions, videos, paired work and on-site visits.
Extensive tutor support offered as part of continued support and assessment.

The duration of the course is 24 weeks. Learners will also be observed on-site as part of the assessment process.
